He Died So You Could Live–Easter Fashion

It’s Good Friday! Today we remember the day when our Savior, Jesus Christ, died on the cross. Not only did He give up His life for us, but he also took on all of the world’s sins.

Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:45-46 NKJV)

Now we are forgiven; and if we call upon Jesus and accept Him as Lord, we are released and given eternal life!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16 NKJV).

So I’m sure all of you are excited about Easter and the adorable dresses there are to wear to church and dinner. I will share some Polyvore creations as well as what I will be wearing this Easter Sunday.

Blue Speckled Egg

Robin’s egg blue is a beautiful Spring color, and this dress is perfect for church. I love little shrugs like this because they provide modesty and warmth if it’s still chilly out.

Edgy for Easter

Who says you can’t wear black on Easter? This makes a great dinner dress, and the pop of coral gives it a girly vibe. Just make sure you pair it with bright accessories to balance out the dark color.

And this is my Easter outfit! I love the print on this dress, and how it has a silky feeling. The denim blazer is thrifted and pulls the look together. And how about that Ariel rug ^_^ (sorry for the poor quality).

The payment for sin is death and sacrifice. That’s why Jesus died. God sent His Son to be the one to die for us. All we have to do is receive this forgiveness and the power of God in our lives.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10 NKJV).

He died so I could live. He died so you could live. How precious a gift that is! Remember this, and remember to spread His love wherever you go. There are people everywhere who are starving for Jesus, and we need to feed them this gift.

Have an awesome Easter everyone!

Love, Emily <3
