Knee High Inspo

If you’ve been keeping up with my blog posts, then last Friday you might have seen my post about POTS syndrome. This is what I’ve been diagnosed with, and it has answered why I get dizzy and faint.

Anyway, one of the treatments of POTS is to wear compression stockings…all day long. I was devastated when I found out this news (which seems so shallow lol). They improve circulation which is a huge deal, but they aren’t exactly fashionable (or great for summer).

Well right now I have some toe-less knee highs, and I will be getting a black pair and a grey polka-dot pair by the end of the month. At the bottom of this post I have provided links to websites that sell some stylish compression knee high stockings/socks for all of you beautiful ladies who need them.

I am determined to wear my stockings in style. I know that under my jeans is easy, but how about some inspiration for skirts and dresses?

*Note–The knee-highs in these collages are NOT compression stockings, but they are close enough to draw some fashion inspiration from.

Pretty and edgy–my favorite combination. I love the idea of knee highs peeking out of boots. This is more of a fall look with the boots and pullover, but hey, why not?

So I guess these denim button front skirts are trending right now. I dig the bohemian look, so I thought that this would be a cute outfit to put together. Plus the shirt is from Maurice’s, which is one of my favorite stores.

Athletic wear is everywhere, so why not compression socks? Again, I love the edgy-girly vibe that this look gives. It reminds me of a more polished version of 90’s grunge.

Here are the links of some sites with cool compression wear:
