Back to School Fashion

Happy Friday! As August flies by it feels like the famous music from the movie Jaws is playing, getting louder and louder as the start of a new semester draws near. Maybe I’m actually being a bit melodramatic here.

I like college. I know you probably think that sounds nuts, but I actually like going to class and learning stuff (nerd alert). I love hanging out at my favorite cafe as I write and study (although the studying part can be somewhat unsuccessful). Now I don’t like the end of the semester much, and of course by then I am just counting down the days until it’s over.

Still, I like fall fashion and fresh notebooks. I’m not a fan of the ending of summer, but it can be pretty in autumn. And like I said, the fashion is gorgeous! Here I put together some back to school looks. If you are in college, high school, or even not in school–these looks are still perfect for the summer/fall transition.

The bohemian look is going strong. A cotton plaid shirt and floral paisley skirt is perfect for those warm August days.

Roll up your jeans and show off your ankle boots! A vintage look in light colors still makes it perfect for a summer night.

Peach and coral colors are still trending, but darker floral prints and leggings make the look fall chic.

Kimonos are the perfect cover up this time a year. They are breezy and light, but very stylish.
