Men's Fashion Day!

For some odd reason, I never thought to do a post on men’s fashion. I guess maybe it’s because this blog is aimed at young women, but you all have brothers, dads, husbands/boyfriends, or male friends right?

My friend James from church suggested I do this as a funny post, but I actually thought it sounded like a really good idea! So I took my closest male buddies and relatives that have their own personal style and made some collages that are named after them. It was lots of fun, and I hope you all like them (and maybe show them to the men in your lives).

My older (and only) brother Ben is one of my closest friends. He takes care of me like I’m his kid since he is nine years older than me lol. My brother loves khakis and wears them pretty much every day. He also loves quirky accessories such as his Star Wars shoes.

The Tom

My friend Tom asked me to create a collage with black skinny jeans that have holes in the knees and a plaid shirt (his style). So the idea was born to make collages named after everyone! This style is edgy/hipster, and suits the musician or artist you know.

The Jacob

This collage is inspired by my cousin Jacob. Not only does he have a musical background, but he is a jack of all trades (and nerd like me :p). Skinny jeans, cool t-shirts, and converse are a must for the cool guy of the group.

The James

Behold, the one who inspired the idea for this post. James is your all American jeans and a t-shirt type of guy. This look is for the friendly and outgoing guy of your group, and will never go out of style.

The Ben

No, this isn’t my brother. Ben is another friend from church who just moved away to go back to college 🙁 Ben’s style is classic and edgy with a hint of prep. Button downs are a must when you lead a college ministry (which is what Ben did at our church).

What do you all think? I can tell you that I learned some things about men’s fashion after doing this. Number one being that there is more to it than it looks! Do you know any guy who dresses in one of these styles?
