My Top 5 Favorite Beauty Products

Happy Friday lovely readers and followers! It’s been awhile since I did a beauty post, and even though I blog more about fashion, I still love makeup and hair! So today I want to share my top 5 favorite beauty products. These are the items I use pretty much everyday. I hope that you like them 🙂

1. Spray and Play Hairspray

Having short hair is pretty easy, but volume is the key to a chic messy style. Spray and Play by Big Sexy Hair has never failed to give my fine hair volume. It lifts it up and holds without ever being too crunchy or weighing it down. My hair is actually quite fine and thin naturally. When it’s all done up I like to joke that it’s 80% hairspray 🙂

2. Anew Vitale Cleanser

I love Avon and have always used it since I started wearing makeup (I actually used to sell it lol). Vitale is a great cleanser because it gets the job done without being too harsh. The moisturizer is also great too.

3. e.l.f. Eye Primer

This might be the most beautiful accident to happen in my beauty regimen. I was looking for a cheap eye primer and bought this e.l.f. primer in sheer. It actually looks like a pale pink, which complements my fair skin nicely. Anyway, my dark circles are pretty bad and I didn’t have any concealer. I decided to dab a little of this underneath my eyes, and now I look like a new woman. It seriously covers and brightens under my eyes better than anything I’ve ever used before–for two dollars. Go figure. I don’t know how many different shades there are, so if you’re interested you might want to look it up to find one for your unique skin tone.

4. Tarte Silk Amazonian Clay Eye Liner

I got this Tarte eye liner as a Christmas present, and it is my favorite! I am a huge eye liner addict, and the cat eye is my signature. This liner goes on so smooth and is highly pigmented. The end has a built in sharpener and blender to create a smoky look. I’ve already used up the black, but the brown and navy liners are subtle and flattering for everyday wear.

5. Doll 10 Lipstick/Lip Gloss Duo

This was a birthday present that I am so thankful for. The Doll 10 duo comes with lipstick on one end and lip gloss on the other. They are neutral colors that give just enough tint to make my lips look bright. The first one (the top shade on my hand) is French Beige/Buff, and the second one (bottom shade) is Baby Doll/Bella. The lipsticks are super creamy and buildable in color. They don’t dry out my lips at all. And the lip gloss is in no way sticky. In fact, my only complaint would be that the lip gloss isn’t sticky enough to last a long time. But I wear these everyday and love them.
