The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly~Day 2 of The 30 Day Blog Challenge

Hello lovely readers and followers! Welcome back to Day 2 of the 30 Day Blog Challenge.

Today’s Topic: Emily–The good, the bad, and the ugly. That’s quite a lot to write about yourself in one post, but I think I can do it in a poem!

“Emily–The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”

I am bad.

My sins running red

With every lie I’ve ever told

And every part of myself I’ve tried to destroy.

I am ugly.

My body never good enough

For any magazine in the country

Or the accusers in my mind.

I am good.

Because my Creator made me with His hands

Because He died for my sins, making me white as snow

Because He calls me beautiful, He calls me worthy

He calls me loved.

For all of you lovely readers who read this poem, you are beautiful and loved. God can redeem anyone and use them for His purpose!

But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine (Isaiah 43:1 NKJV).
