Off-the-Shoulder Fashion Hacks
Happy Friday lovely readers and followers! I know, my fashion posts have not been consistent lately. I thought that since I’m on summer break, I would have more time to get blogging done. Well, life knows how to keep me busy. But I can’t complain because I have been able to spend some awesome time with my family and friends despite everything. I promise to make more of an effort in the future! I think that Christian women tend to panic when the summer trends roll out. Crop tops, short-shorts, bikinis…oh my! I find that most trends can either be skipped or adapted no problem, and there’s one trend this season…

Pretty as a Peach
Happy Friday lovely readers and followers! I’ve been having a long, yet productive week, and I’m so glad that I get to relax a little this weekend. Makeup has become my latest obsession over these past few months. I always get nice makeup for Christmas (especially from my sister), including Laura Geller and Bare Minerals. When I think about all of the makeup mistakes I’ve made as a teen, it really makes me laugh. I used to have “raccoon eyes” when I experimented with eyeliner, and I even wore black lipstick in middle school! #rebel. Do you have any embarrassing makeup stories? Strength in Weakness + Block Heels
Happy Friday lovely readers and followers! While this is still a fashion post, I also have something that the Lord has put on my heart to share with you. Some of you may have noticed that there was no Wednesday post, and I apologize for that. My blood pressure has been going pretty low this week, and sometimes I struggle to stay awake. I know that God is faithful and will heal me in His time. I am believing in great things for myself, despite this temporary weakness. Weakness. Our pride often gets in the way when we try to admit our weaknesses, doesn’t it? I think this can sometimes be…

Earth Day + Floral Patch Denim
Happy Friday lovely readers and followers! Tomorrow is Earth Day. Okay, you may be thinking. Why should I care about Earth Day? Well, God cares, so that should be a good reason. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1 NIV) As human beings, we tend to think that the world is ours. However, God is the one who created the universe and the planet we live on, so it’s actually His. That being said, God did give us the world for us to be temporary stewards of (Genesis 1:26). This is quite an honor, and shouldn’t be taken lightly.…

Easter Dresses + The Power of The Cross
Happy Good Friday lovely readers and followers! When you really think about it, Good Friday is quite sorrowful. It was the day Jesus was beaten and crucified for our sins. It was the day of our Savior’s death. Can you imagine how bleak things must have looked for the disciples that weekend? Of all the things they expected the Messiah to do, dying on a lowly cross wasn’t one of them. But there is tremendous power in Christ’s death on that cross. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh…
