    Shining Through the Darkness

A light will always shine brightest in the darkness.  I find it amazing how one small candle or night light can illuminate an entire room. I tend to wander around my apartment at night without my glasses, and that often leads to missed steps and stubbed toes.  However, a little light from my phone’s screen changes everything. Suddenly I see what’s right in front of me. I know exactly how far the edge of my bed is or if there’s a cat toy on the floor.  I see things as they really are. 4 Ways to Stay Motivated in the New Year

If you’re reading this post, that means you have made it through the first week of 2020! And my hope and prayer is that the last week was full of hope and expectation of the year to come.  To be honest, I’ve never been one to set a lot of goals in the New Year. Spring reminds me of hope, and right now a friend of mine needs a good dose of that. His name is Rob, and he just had surgery to remove pancreatic cancer. Though the odds may be against him, God is always in his favor. I believe in the Lord’s healing power, and I’m asking for agreement in prayer over Rob’s body and spirit. Please also keep his wife…

    How to Wear Blush Eyeshadow

Happy Friday (and Saint Patrick’s Day) lovely readers and followers! I’m back from spring break, and this week has felt long and productive.  Sometimes things can make us feel so busy that we take them for granted. I like how God is reviving my passion for life again. Don’t get me wrong, I consider myself a pretty mellow and optimistic person. But I’ve also been battling stress and anxiety lately. Talk about a killjoy. Did you know that your comments can literally make a difference in my day? I know that I may not write the most riveting or mind blowing posts in the world, but if something I write touches…
